I have spent the last 28 years moving around the country as a military spouse. This has enabled me to gain helpful real-life knowledge regarding the ups and downs of moving. I have personally experienced firsthand buying and selling three homes, building a new home, and being a landlord to renters as well as a tenant. Although a Carolina girl at heart, Northern Virginia has become my home as an adult after several assignments to the area and living here the longest of all our moves.
